Progress Trumps Perfection

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.

Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.

Future of Wealth

In the corridors of Corporate America, I was once taught that hard work would inevitably lead to financial prosperity.

But here's the revelation: after candid conversations with a Wealth Management Advisor and a renowned Economist, I've come to challenge that notion, especially as we ponder the #FutureOfWork.

Consider this new framework:

1️⃣ Yes, a W2 job provides a stable income, but it should be seen as more than just a paycheck. Ideally, it's your means to have supplementary income, funds you can invest in ventures beyond covering bills.

2️⃣ Don't underestimate the importance of side hustles. They are your gateway to creating additional income streams while holding a corporate position. Be mindful of contractual details, but the possibilities are vast. Start today!

3️⃣ Think about owning or buying a small business that you can manage alongside your day job, or consider becoming a silent partner in a venture aligned with your aspirations or dreams.

4️⃣ Here's where it gets exciting. I watched an economist break down the math, and it's awe-inspiring. Even a modest contribution to investments can theoretically double over time. Who wouldn't want that?

As a professional woman juggling business and household responsibilities, this framework resonates deeply with me. It's not just about making money; it's about making your money work for you.
